Without Joakim Noah and D-Rose, the Bulls are down 3-1 to the 8 seed

Prior to game 4 the Bulls found out they would be without center Joakim Noah. There would be no jokes or smiles from him and Chicago fans anymore. This past year has seen the Chicago Bears lose Quarter Back Jay Cutler and Half Back Matt Forte, the Blackhawks lose captain Jonathan Toews and All star Marian Hossa, and of course the Bulls having an injured MVP in Derrick Rose. It has been a rough in the Windy City.

Cutting to the chase, all their best players are injured, and now the Bulls are down 3-1. No fun there for anyone. Except Philly center Spencer Hawes who came alive without Noah on the floor.

Hawes is your classic token white guy. He wears double zero as his number. I didn’t even know that was still a legal number. Even before I saw he was from Seattle I thought he looked like your classic grunge head. The guy is as 90s white as they come.

Anyway, I’ll skip making fun of Hawes for today. He had 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks in yesterdays win. And playing against an injured Noah in game 3, he was able to score 21 while pulling down 9 boards. Not too many jokes you can make about those performances. Spencer and his 76ers should be able to wrap this series up in game 5, those Baby Bulls are just too hurt to make a comeback.
