After setting a career high with 25 points against the Nets, Jeremy Lin slit the Utah Jazz defense. Lin’s journey from the west seems to be just what the Knicks needed, he has led them in scoring for the past two games, allowing the Knicks to finally get hot. His new career high stands at 28, this to go along with 8 assist. When all was said and done, Lin led the Knickerbockers to a 99-88 win over the Jazz. The performance was extra impressive; the Knicks played without Amar’e Stoudemire and lost Carmelo Anthony after 6 minutes of play.

Stoudemire missed the game after his brother passed away earlier this morning. There is no word on when Stat will be back, but for now we can just keep him and his family in our thoughts. As for Melo, the injury bug continues to bite. After just a few minutes of play Melo was forced out with a strained groin.

The Knicks were lucky to get another win without their two perennial all stars. Lin managed to save the Knicks again with another huge performace. Does this mean that the point guard puzzle has been solved? Well we will still have to wait and see. Two games does not make a career, but as it stands right now, Jeremy Lin is the wok star of Manhattan.
