Gregg Popovich of the Spurs named NBA coach of the year

Keywords: gregg popovich, san antonio spurs, tim duncan

Heres a little number I’ll throw out for you, well it is actually two numbers. 38-7. That is the record the Spurs had in their last 45 games entering the postseason. After getting off to a very non San Antonio 12-9 start, Pops got his team going. Tim Duncan had another great season in his hall of fame career. Tony Parker may have had the best campaign of his life as he sits as one of the top MVP candidates. These were the keys to the Spurs as they earned the top seed once again under Popovich. So with that I say well done and well deserved for Gregg Popovich, who is also battling this postseason for his 5th championship.
